I had a lunch date with my aunt, and she is a cheeseburger lover. So I decided that Red Robin would be the perfect place to take her. We had an appetizer to start off the meal. The towering Onion rings were to die for. They are served with a ranch-barbeque sauce that adds just the touch of flavor with mild heat. We both got cheeseburgers. I got the royal red robin burger, which was awesome. It has all the fixings that a regular cheeseburger has but it is topped off with a fried egg. Delicious! The only complaint that I had is that we had to send our burgers back because they were served cold. Our server Jeff, was very professional, and returned moments later with fresh burgers and fries that were steaming hot.

The food is good, but the service is only fair. We like to come here because they have a great menu for those with food allergies but the service is slow and the servers and hosts act like they would rather be somewhere else. Disappointing since not many places have a wide selection of foods that my little one can eat.

The food isn't great, but it's typically good. This Red Robin is not consistent. The food, service and portions are not consistent. We have received great service and horrible service. Perfectly cooked succulent food and over or undercooked wilted food. I've received three different sized bowls of tortilla soups when ordering a bowl portion. However, even when the burgers aren't great they are still pretty ok. When they are on their game the burgers are quite good and the fries delicious.

What can you say about such a large chain? They've got it all figured out. Never had a bad meal here. Food's always good. It's a little loud in here, but with a 9- and 10-year-old in tow it's WHY we sometimes choose to come here; our kids, even on a bad day, have never been a standout at Red Robin. There's always some other kid to take the spotlight. :) Speaking of kids... Mine love it here.

There's something about a Red Robin burger (veggie, for me), french fries and a milkshake that always hits the spot. However, at this particular location... not so much. We were in the area and figured it was a safe choice. No such luck. The food was cooked subpar compared to other locations. Also, it was like playing a game of hide and seek with our server. We spent more time wondering where she was than actually enjoying our time there -- wondering when she would greet us at the table, wondering when she would return with our waters, our food, our bill... You get the idea. When she was at our table, she did the bare minimum, mumbled a few words and left. She clearly didn't want to be there that night, as we overheard her telling a coworker. Sorry you feel that way. We wish you weren't there that night either. Maybe we would have had a better experience then.

Holy Moly is this place packed! Geeze Louise the waiting area was 40 people deep!! Jiminy Cricket this place was lousy with people!!! I was craving a burger, but I had my sister and her fam' in tow so we had to go somehwere, local...and family friendly... I guess... My sister suggested it..and I thought it would be cool, as I remember RR fondly. Thankfully, I had the state of mind to tell her, to tell her husband to get there earlier than we would be done with work just in case there was a line. Let me tell you. I showed up at 5:25pm and the lobby was JAMMED!!! This must be the graduated restaurant for a child to attend just post the "Chuck E Cheese" phase for their birthday extravaganzas!. We heard several Birthday Concertos while we sat waiting and eating our food. I honestly hadn't been to a Red Robin in over 5 years and I was surprised how busy they were. We were starved!!...nothing substantial to eat all day, and I was looking to get my "burger"on. EeeeUhhh...eh..uhh...I don't know...It was okay. I'll leave it at that. Service was great. Our waitress was very cool....they have people constantly circulating to retrieve dirty plates...We got our bottomless french fries rather quickly, .I had a fresh diet Pepsi, quickly after I had taken my last slurp, without ever asking...they were very attentive~.... My burger just wasn't as good as I thought it would be.. or, as I'd remember it to be... It was just okay. I remembered it to be larger and tastier than before. I tend to go for the A1 Peppercorn burger. Even years later, I still wanted this burger as I remember it being very good...This time...it just sorta fell flat for me... No worries.! I got my fill! You won't see me here anytime soon.....unless it's for a planned birthday party or something. Is this the place to go for a great burger? NO hahaha sorry...It's not

My friends and I stopped in last night for my birthday dinner. We were told there was a 25 minute wait. Not too bad for a Friday night. We were pleasantly surprised we only had to wait 5 minutes. That's where things went downhill. We didn't have great service. Never had a consistent waitress. Had a different person get our drinks. Dofferent person take our order Different person bring us food. Different person give us our bill and nobody checked on us. My friends wanted to hunt down an employee for them to sing happy birthday to me but didn't succeed yet others were getting happy birthdays. My friend ordered a well done burger that was burned to a crisp, while my boyfriends burger was undercooked. My soup was lukewarm and lacked chicken. Chicken tortilla soup minus chicken? My goddaughter, who is 4, for carrots. She got a ranch side dish container of carrots. Really?! That's it? Not my first place to ever go. Very dirty. Really disappointed. Wish I spent my birthday at a different restaurant.

We were sat next to the kitchen window, which was fine by me. However when I had to sit and watch my food sit there for 15 minutes before being brought out to no surprise cold, I was a little perturbed. The manager was very nice and offered me new food, which I took gladly. The service was fair, but slow, took about 10 minutes for a drink refill and even longer for a fry refill. There was a pile up of food on the kitchen counter so I know that the kitchen was not to blame at that point. I'm sure I'll be back, but not anytime soon.

FANTASTIC! I love burgers and even more...I love affordable burgers. I had a $7 burger that had thousand island and grilled onions- with fries! Cooked to perfection and had that delish char-grilled flavor. They also have poutine on special- French fries, mushroom gravy (like a good mushroom Marsala) and garlic aioli...can't forget the fried cheese curds! Not exactly on the heart associations best restaurants list, but a good spot for an affordable "American" treat!
Still one of the best places to get a burger. Yummmm! This will always be an A good place. I can't only speak good things about red robin. The food is good, the fries are amazing, drinks are so good. Great atmosphere. Care around dinner time in Friday's and Saturdays get crazy busy.

I've been to this location twice and have not been disappointed. The service has been very good and the food is better than average for a chain. Everything is spot on for the price. This is so refreshing because it seems that whenever I go to some other chain like Applebee's or Friday's, I walk out feeling ripped off. Not at RR, I get good food and service at a good price. What's not to like?

I am so thankful for the gluten free buns. They taste delicious! And I appreciate the staff being aware of allergens. The service was a bit slow but in their defence it was quite busy.

After a terrible experience with a Red Robin in Virginia I had my doubts about even going to another. Someone from Red Robin contacted me which shows that they do make a good effort. I went back and this one was very good. Very busy but the waitress was great and the food was very good. This trip restored my faith in Red Robin.

I normally love Red Robin. I go there at least twice a month. I normally get the Ragin Cajun, but I thought I would try something different this time. I ordered the Whiskey River BBQ Chicken. It was not fully cooked and the texture was rubbery. I had a few bites and set it aside. I told the server and she said she would tell the manager. The server returned and told me that the manager was sorry and he would look into it. I was not happy that the manager did not take time to come over and personally apologize. It will be a long time before I return to this location.

Had a fabulous visit here today with my mom! We split the O-Ring-Shorty and they were fresh-hot and yummy just like we like them! Then we split a Whiskey BBQ burger that was fantastic and out within 5 minutes! Had a fantastic waitress Tara who was fast, efficient, super-friendly, and gave great advice! Overall a terrific visit! It's been awhile since I've been here and the food just keeps getting better and better! The only downfall is that when they converted to a new menu they got rid of their quesadilla which my mom and I used to split everytime! Tara is a really friendly waitress who even gave us a survey thing where we can enter to win $1000 dollars! She made sure our drinks were full and definitely earned her tip! Bottomless fries were splendid!

We come here every year to get my free birthday burger. We went here on a Wednesday evening this year around 7:00 and ordered the Onion Ring Tower, the Banzai Burger and the 5 Alarm Burger. The onion rings were crispy with not too much breading and came with ranch and another sauce. Since coming to RR last, they have changed their presentation and perhaps the size of their beef patties as well. The burgers were filled with the usual good toppings, but the patty seemed unusually thin for a burger joint (this could have been my hungry imagination playing tricks on me). The price and service were standard for a chain restaurant.

They do have good burgers. Beat most of the $9 bar burgers I've had, so if you're gonna spend that much on a burger, Red Robin ain't a bad way to go. My mint shake was pretty awesome, too, but went quickly. I was left longing for one of those Big Boy shakes where they give you extra in that big cold metal cup. I sat at the bar where the barkeep kept my service attentive and prompt. The decor is of a hilarious Jackrabbit Slim's variety. I get a kick out of the Americana mythology the place is awash with, especially as this one is located in another big asphalt lot off of Sprawl Road. Seems to me Hall Rd. is a nail in the coffin of the Americana that the interior of Red Robin celebrates. But it's nothing but redundant corporate chain restaurants out here anyway, so again, if you're stuck in this area, you could do worse than Red Robin. Could even give this joint three stars if it weren't for Location, Location, Location!

My family and I love it here! My 4yr old daughter asks for red robin by name. My husband loves the tavern double. It's good but I prefer the royal red robin. They have gluten free buns that are delicious! My husband and I both have gluten allergies so the fact that we both can eat here is awesome. The service is usually friendly and efficient. The drinks from the bar area were a bit slow today. We love red robin and will continue our loyal patronage :)

We came in here on a Sunday it was mediocre busy and we asked to sit in a booth. She replied and said all the booths were dirty. Why are they dirty this is an established resturant well at least I thought it was. Were would they like us to in the parking lot. If I come in a place there should be a place to sit for everyone.

So we thought we would try Red Robin. On our last visit we waited 15 minutes after being seated and then walked out. This visit, the same thing. We talked to the manager again. All he said, was if we stayed the food would be made correctly. We walked again. We would NOT suggest this particular Red Robin. Maybe another Red Robin, but not this one.

Three stars only because of this particular location's inconsistency. The food at red robin is great. The environment is very kid friendly and can be loud. Their burgers are pretty good and the bottomless fries and the red robin seasoning is delicious. I also like their smoothies milkshakes and macaroni and cheese.

Burger was good. Didn't know they came with everything already on them (most places I've gone to serve your burger with the tomato, lettuce, onion on the side). Also had some onion rings to start. They were...onion rings, what else can you say about them. Good stuff. French onion soup was pretty good, needed more cheese. Big 'ol tall glass of beer helped things along nicely. oh and what's with the french fries? you order fries and they literally give you like 6 french fries. order more, and they give about 6 more. is there a french fry shortage in this country that I'm not aware of?

Never ceases to amaze me. My favorite thing to order is the chicken bruschetta sandwich with a side of ranch, I always substitute the fries for something or other as I'm not a big fan of their steak fries. Also, they have a rewards card which offers a free birthday burger and other occasional offers, that free burger is pleasing enough for me though!

Great Burgers, which they are known for. The menu has a variety of options for everyone and the atmosphere is loud and energetic. The fried Zucchini is amazing too, I have to get it every time. Also, the servers are great and extremely helpful. They will answer any questions you need answered.

Good selection of really big burgers, but a bit on the pricey side (about $9.00 for a burger and fries). They do give you unlimited refills on your fries, but they're usually overcooked. The service is always top notch at this Red Robin.

I have to agree with other reviewers, this place is hit or miss. I tried it twice over the last few years and thought it was just awful. This past week I met a friend for lunch and she picked Red Robin. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Our server was really attentive, our food was absolutely delicious and it was FAST! Not rushed by any means, but our food arrived very quickly.

I still stand by all points of my previous review, but I have to correct one point: They stopped carrying Under the Kilt from Dragonmead Brewery and they don't seem to have any reasonable local brewery despite the menu indicating otherwise. The drink selection -- specifically the beer selection -- is rather poor (what else goes with a burger?) Gourmet burgers should include a suitable companion and it's a little disappointing that they no longer provide that companion.

This restaurant is known for their burgers. If you are a burger fan this is the place to go to try something different. They also offer many different chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, and salads. The prices are kinda high for a burger and fries. But there steak fries are unlimited. Which you usually have to order another basket of them because they only give you about 6-9 fries per meal. My experience was not very pleasurable though. I ordered the salmon sandwich bunless. After about 20 minutes when I thought we were going to get our orders (with a table of 7) the server came up to me and said they were out of salmon. I was disappointed, but I knew they had other options for me. So I decided on a garden burger bunless of course. The bunless option is great, your sandwich is wrapped in lettuce and leaves us low-carb dieters happy. I asked for the sauce on the side, but of course it wasn't. I tried to take some off but since it was covered in it I had to reorder again. They made me a new one. At this point in time my entire table was done eating and I finally got my burger. The garden burger actually tasted pretty good. Very healthy, and it did the trick, I was full. Would I go there again? Probably not... unless someone has another birthday party there that they want me to go. Place is overrated and expensive for the product. Only thing good for parents is this place is LOUD and has tons of kids in there, and kinda of cater to them. So I guess a family night out wouldn't be bad there with the kids.

Why anyone would think this is good food is beyond me. I ate here once or twice back in high school and i remember thinking it was pretty good. Obviously my taste buds have grown up. After not eating here for almost 7 years i agreed to eat here one night when it was late and i was positively starving. We started with an appetizer sampler that contained onion rings, cheese sticks, and something else i don't remember. The cheese sticks were typical mass produced frozen sticks that were deep fried and pretty average. The onion rings looked and smelled disgusting so i didn't even bother trying any. I ordered the "natural" burger but what they gave me was anything but natural. It tasted like a frozen beef patty. There is simply no way in hell it was fresh or "natural" beef. The basket of fries that accompanies the burger was quite possibly the most horrific item of food i have ever consumed. Everybody raves over how good these fries are and i just don't get it. The fries are not fresh and hand cut and the seasoning on them tastes like garbage. The only redeeming part of this dining experience was our server, who looked and act a lot like Amy Poehler. If you want a good burger, there are a million other places in metro detroit to get it. Just don't waste your money here.

$9 Burgers & Fries + $2.50 Soft Drinks. With tip, your at $14 bucks for burger, fries and a coke. The burgers are good, but they are not great. Better burgers abound, this is not worth the price.

Red Robin is Red Robin. As Craig M. said, you can expect the same $9 burger from any of them nationwide. My girlfriend likes this place so I come here on occasion. The interior is an over the top faux decorated ambiance of the Elvis-era America. Back when the classic cars, drive-in movies, and the burger/fries/shake reigned supreme as a square meal - and fellas would always look for a chance to "park" with their cuteys. However, in my opinion - Red Robin's over the top chain restaurant attempt at creating this atmosphere is just ridiculous. Oh well, when in Rome! My personal favorite (and really the only item that looks appealing to me), is the Blue Ribbon Burger. I order this bad boy medium-cooked so it's as juicy as possible. It comes on a perfect looking bun, with fried shoestring onions, crumbled blue cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and some light steak sauce. I must admit that this burger does hit the spot for me. The endless steak fries are a great invention - but with my new healthier regimen and lifestyle - they are better left not exploited. One little easter egg for all you fries lovers, for no extra charge you can request "parmesan garlic" seasoned fries - they are the same steak fries with a seasoning making them even tastier! All in all, Red Robin serves up a burger with a real pre-made look and feel. Each time, the burger patty comes looking out exactly shaped the same way, perfect round. While it'd be optimistic to imagine that the chefs back there are that perfect, it's more realistic that these burger patties are pre-formed, frozen, and probably thawed hours before cooked. Come here for a family-friendly burger dining experience, don't expect the best burger in town - but expect to be taken care of and have a variety of options at your fingertips on the menu. Unlike the neighborhood burger joint, at about $20/person for burger, fries + shake, the bill can quickly rack up here! Beware! Me personally, I am waiting to have a real hometown burger one day soon, perhaps at Miller's in Dearborn!

Ok. So this is a late review of the RedRobin. We went there three weeks ago on a Friday night because my wife was craving a hamburger. Well , we walked into a mess. This is truly a family restaurant. So be ready for the multitude of screaming kids. I have nothing against kids and I would have given my niece and nephew a few candy bars and taken them along. If you want a quite night out, this is not the place for you. Three Teenage hostesses that did know what they were doing greeted us. I asked for a booth. I was told that there would be a 20 minute wait. I can deal with that, " I will be at the bar, please call my name when my table is ready". I was in eyesight of the hostess stand and I verified with the bartender that the hostess will come into the bar to call our name when our table is ready. We waited for 30 minutes for our booth, then after seeing everyone after us get seated, I went to hostess stand. Asked the young lady why we were not seated? She and her two assistants did not know what had happened. We were then put on the bottom of the list to be seated. After waiting another 20 minutes, we were taken to a small booth/ table that was about as big as an airline serving tray, and exactly 8 inches away from the next table and butted up the the wall. The table next to us was occupied by a nice family I'm sure, I just didn't want to share my fries with them. That was it. If it's that hard to understand what your customer wants, after telling them two times, I don't want to eat there. We walked out. I know it sounds extreme, but it just floored me that we waited almost an hour for a table in a burger joint.

My fiancé and I ordered a carry out today so RR could try and redeem themselves from the previous horrible dining experience we had prior. We didn't have any gift cards or gift certificates it was out of our pocket. I ordered two meals, an appetizer, a desert and 2 drinks. We were told a 12-15 minute time for our food to be ready which is great. When I went to pick up the food the bartender was nice but after I cashed out she forgot to give me my drinks and I had to ask for them. Then when I get home I realize that they never put the desert I paid for in the bag. Big bummer. And our food was stone cold. I understand that getting carry out doesn't mean you will have a hot meal but this was ice cold. I tried to give RR another chance, but I am done with this place. There are so many other great burger joints around.

Love the burgers and fries. Its a place to go when you can't decide on anything else. lol And dont for extra strawberries in there strawberry lemonade.

Great burger.....for a chain. It is great for families. If you want a good burger Red Robin is a great place! I would've given it a 3.5 if offered. I had the Burnin' Love burger....yummmmmm!! It is a hot one though!
